Day 1 Part 2

Now that introductions have been made, the juicy part of my blog can begin. Marriage is a war. Yes, I said war between the opposite sexes. There is an ever so constant feel to give and take, take and give. Sometimes it is exhausting. When someone gets married, I don't care what anyone says, a piece of you dies. For most people this part of you is the selfish, impulsive, immature person that was ok to date, never to marry. But if more than that person dies, there is a serious problem. If the kind, gentle, free spirit dies, run away from this bad marriage, because that is exactly what you have gotten yourself into. When you get married, no one tells you how much individualism is lost. The word "I" is like a four letter word in my house. Most of the time that is a good thing. Just don't lose sight of yourself as a woman or man.
